thread: what doesn't harm kids?

It's important to understand what really harms children so we aim to prevent the right things.

Bly is a former co-director of Virtuous Pedophiles. Blog posts reflect his personal views, and are not statements from the organisation.

Quick guide:

THINGS THAT DON'T INVOLVE HARMING REAL CHILDREN:
- Ageplay
- AB/DL
- DDLG
- Loli/Shota/other art
- Child Sex Dolls
- Fantasy
- Writing
- Having pro-c opinions

THINGS THAT HARM REAL CHILDREN:
- Child molestation
- Grooming
- Enacting pro-c ideas
- Making/using CSEM

One tweet was too short to capture all the subtleties of this but...

(a) I assume the non-harming activities I listed are either done by consenting adults or solo by minors, in general

(b) I am against pro-c opinions and feel they can lead to harm but (i) free speech and (ii) >

> there is a spectrum of critiques and opinions outside the standard view of abuse and aoc.

(c) DDLG is shorthand to include DDLB, DMLB, DMLG and all the other gender variants

(d) Trans identities could easily have been mentioned but would need explaining in other ways

>

> (e) Psychological states like DID/regression I guess fit in here somewhere but are more complex re consent

(f) All the "non-harm" actions are assumed voluntary on the part of the person initiating. Attraction to kids is involuntary but JUST AS HARMLESS AND NON-BLAMEWORTHY.

Many professional efforts to support us are based on the idea of preventing crimes. Do they actually work?
